Mechanical Foreman

The Mechanical Foreman will oversee the installation and maintenance of HVAC, utility, and process piping systems, including subcontractors. This role requires strong leadership and technical skills to ensure safe and efficient construction practices.

• Lead a team of pipe fitters, plumbers, welders, and apprentices in the execution of mechanical work.
• Oversee site safety and quality control programs, ensuring compliance with project-specific safety programs.
• Coordinate interface between project management and site operation participants.
• Supervise and participate in the installation of heating, hot water, chilled water, steam, condensate, compressed air, process fluids, chemical, fuel oil, gases, and other related systems.
• Develop and implement daily job hazard analysis (JHA) and ensure compliance with OSHA 10 certification.
• Collaborate with project team members to resolve potential claims and issues.
• Ensure proper site housekeeping and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• 10 years of field experience in industrial construction.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in industrial construction.
• Attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and manage a team.
• Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Competency in permit-required confined space and OSHA 10 certification.

The Mechanical Foreman will work in various industrial settings, including manufacturing facilities, power generating facilities, chemical manufacturing, healthcare and institutional facilities, and pharmaceutical facilities. The role requires the ability to perform tasks in all aspects of construction sites, climb ladders, crawl as needed, work from aerial lifts, and lift and manipulate objects up to 50 lbs.
