Registered Nurse (RN) Team Leader Position
Overview:
The Registered Nurse (RN) Team Leader plays a crucial role in ensuring the overall health and well-being of our residents by delivering direct nursing care.
This role involves the direct nursing care of residents, which includes planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating care to maintain the highest standards of quality care and regulatory compliance.

Oversee and guide the personal care duties and nursing procedures performed by Nursing Assistants on the assigned team.
Communicate with the RN Unit Manager/Assistant Unit Manager or Charge RN Supervisor regarding any unusual symptoms, changes in condition, daily needs, and progress of residents.
Adhere to the Plan of Care for each resident and supervise the Nursing Assistants in executing the care plan.
Receive controlled substances from the supervisory nurse and manage all aspects of their storage and distribution; ensure safe and proper handling of medications stored in various locations.
Monitor resident care standards during the execution of duties, ensuring that residents' rights and preferences in care and treatment are respected.

Qualifications:
Must possess credentials as a Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with a current State license.
Experience in a geriatric setting is preferred.
Ability to supervise and collaborate effectively with other personnel is essential.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
Demonstrated qualities of maturity, diplomacy, and teamwork are necessary. A caring and respectful attitude towards residents is essential.
Physical stamina for continuous activity is required.
Ability to perform tasks to established standards of excellence is mandatory.
Demonstrated commitment to uphold the vision and mission of the company by adhering to the core values of Integrity, Teamwork, Passion for Excellence, and Reverence for the Individual is required.
To ensure a safe work environment and facilitate open communication, the employee must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or advanced level.
