**Supervising Psychologist Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Clinical Psychologist to fill a Supervising Psychologist position within our organization. As a Supervising Psychologist, you will be responsible for supervising students and providing shared oversight of our inpatient psychology training program.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise students and provide guidance and support to ensure their successful completion of the training program.
- Provide individual, family, or group therapy to children and adolescents, as well as psychological testing and assessment.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients and their families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practices in psychology.
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
- 2 years of experience in a behavioral health setting, with a focus on supervision and leadership.
- Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Illinois.
- Strong knowledge of general and psychiatric principles, as well as working concepts and theory.
- Ability to work cooperatively with other site staff and involved community agencies.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of patient contact. The successful candidate will be able to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and compassion.
Physical Requirements:The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. They will also be able to lift up to 40 pounds and participate in crisis prevention interventions as needed.
