Are you a seasoned power engineering professional seeking a challenging role as a technical lead? System One Holdings, LLC is now hiring for a Senior Power Engineer position.

About the Job:

We are looking for an experienced and skilled mechanical engineer to serve as the technical lead for design execution of power projects up to 200MW. As a Senior Power Engineer, you will oversee all mechanical project design activities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality contracted scope.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead mechanical subject matter expert for power generation projects from 25 - 200MW, combined cycle and simple cycle power combustion turbines.
  • Supervise and manage assigned mechanical engineers on each project, providing technical guidance, training, and support for junior engineers.
  • Perform calculations, modeling, engineering, and code research as required.
  • Conduct peer review, technical oversight, and quality control of design team's work products.
  • Collaborate with the VP of group to respond to client-issued RFPs and develop bid proposals, contracts, cost estimates, budgets, etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 15 years of professional experience with proven experience in engineering, particularly in IPP and utility-scale combustion turbine plants.
  • Demonstrated experience in executing multi-discipline projects using Building Information Modeling (BIM) programs or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with GE, Siemens, and/or Solar combustion turbines.
  • Knowledge and experience specifying and integrating industrial frame combustion turbines, natural gas and diesel internal combustion engines, heat recovery equipment, packaged boilers, and balance of plant mechanical equipment.
  • Familiarity with local, state, and national code requirements.
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical, controls, structural, civil, air permitting discipline requirements.
  • Knowledge and experience with construction phase, including site visits, factory tests, shop drawing coordination, and piping design.
  • Pipe stress analysis experience is a plus.

About Us:

System One Holdings, LLC offers a competitive salary range of $160,000 - $220,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, life, and short/long-term disability insurance, generous 401(k) match, and paid time off.
