Position Overview

Qualifications
  • State License: Must possess a valid Indiana medical license.
  • Board Certification: Required to ensure the highest standards of care.
  • Fellowship: Completion of a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry is mandatory.
Work Environment

This position is primarily outpatient with no on-call responsibilities. The role is designed to support a long-term vacancy, contributing to a seamless transition for patients.

Patient Care

The psychiatrist will manage a varied patient load, with the number of patients seen daily depending on the mix of initial evaluations and follow-up appointments. Initial consultations are scheduled for 45 minutes to 1 hour, while follow-up visits are typically 30 minutes.

Our facility boasts a comprehensive multi-disciplinary team, including:

  • Medical Doctors (MDs)
  • Nurse Practitioners (NPs)
  • Registered Nurses (RNs)
  • Medical Assistants (MAs)
  • Therapists and Social Workers
  • Behavioral Health Specialists
  • Pharmacy Services
Additional Information

While in-person consultations are preferred, they are not a strict requirement. Please note that compliance with Covid vaccination protocols is essential for all staff members.
