We are seeking a skilled PET/CT Technologist to join our team at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical center.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure patient safety and comfort during PET/CT procedures, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
- Operate and maintain PET/CT scanners, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize imaging parameters to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in PET/CT imaging.
- High School Diploma or Associate's Degree in a related field.
- Certification in Nuclear Medicine by the NMTCB or ARRT (N) required; state license as required.
- AHA BLS certification required.
- 1-2 years of PET imaging experience or 1-2 years' experience in Nuclear Medicine procedures and studies preferred.
