About the Role

At St. Luke's Health System, we are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation Team. As a critical member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with our Physical Therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Assist with patient evaluations, assessments, and interventions to promote optimal recovery and functional outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to ensure a smooth transition to home or community-based care.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop strategies for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
  • Experience: 3 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid physical therapy assistant license in the state of practice and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
