About the Role

Stem, a global leader in AI-enabled software and services for clean energy, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Operations Analyst to join its rapidly growing business operations team. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, technical expertise, and ability to think creatively to resolve problems.

The ideal candidate will possess strong quantitative analytic skills, experience with advanced Excel modeling, and proficiency in tools like Python and R. They will be responsible for supporting performance and financial reporting, developing KPI and metrics dashboards, and leading performance analysis processes. Additionally, they will serve as a liaison between Data/Program/Customer Operations and Product teams, assisting with backlog grooming, requirements capturing, and refinement.

To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, mathematics, economics, or a related field, and at least 5 years of prior experience in relevant data operations. Understanding and demonstrated interest in time-series data, electrical utilities, utility tariffs, and renewable energy are significant advantages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support development and execution of performance and financial reporting for financier and split-savings portfolios.
  • Produce accurate and standardized reporting of KPIs/metrics and develop/maintain dashboards to provide key insights on operational performance.
  • Learn and support Stem's on-going performance analysis process and annual Performance Guarantee process.
  • Assist or grow into a Product Management coordinator role for the team.
