Position Overview:
As a Room Attendant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our guest accommodations. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Thoroughly cleaning and preparing guest rooms with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Working independently or collaboratively with team members to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
  • Regularly renewing, refreshing, and sanitizing all areas of the accommodations.
  • Handling linens and laundry, including collection, transportation, washing, folding, and storage.
Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Weekend availability is essential, with typical shifts from 8 AM to 5 PM or 9 AM to 6 PM.
Compensation:
Pay starts at $16-$17 per hour, with an additional $1/hour monthly incentive based on attendance, plus gratuities.
Benefits:
The Norwich Inn offers Paid Time Off and Subsidized Health Insurance. We are specifically looking for candidates available to work Sundays, with the possibility of 1-2 additional shifts per week, which may vary or remain consistent.
Sign-On Bonus:
A $1000 sign-on bonus will be awarded incrementally based on satisfactory attendance and duration in the position: $200 after 30 days, $300 after 90 days, and $500 after 180 days.
