Job Summary

American Roofing & Waterproofing LLC is seeking a seasoned Production Manager to oversee the successful completion of roofing projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, with a focus on ensuring high-quality standards, safety protocols, and efficient workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Scheduling
    • Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules to ensure timely completion.
    • Collaborate with sales and estimating teams to guarantee accurate project scopes and timelines.
  • Team Leadership and Management
    • Lead and manage a team of roofers, subcontractors, and support staff to achieve project goals.
    • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
    • Conduct regular team meetings to review project progress, address challenges, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Quality Control
    • Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure all roofing solutions meet industry standards and client expectations.
    • Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to identify any issues or deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
  • Safety Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, codes, and standards, including OSHA requirements.
    • Develop and enforce safety protocols and procedures to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries on job sites.
  • Resource Management
    • Manage resources efficiently, including materials, equipment, and labor, to optimize project performance and minimize waste.
    • Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to job sites.
  • Client Communication
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the duration of projects.
    • Provide regular updates on progress, address any concerns or questions, and ensure overall client satisfaction.
  • Financial Oversight
    • Monitor project budgets closely, tracking expenses and revenues, and identifying opportunities to optimize costs and improve profitability.
    • Work closely with the finance department to prepare accurate project budgets and financial reports.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on roofing.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale roofing projects from start to finish.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Thorough understanding of construction industry regulations, codes, and standards, with a commitment to safety and quality.
