Position Overview: We are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Lead for our 208-unit family community, Brookside Crossing. This role reports directly to the Community Manager and operates on a non-exempt basis with a standard Monday through Friday schedule. Flexibility is required for occasional overtime, weekends, and on-call maintenance emergencies. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $28, and the Facilities Maintenance Lead is required to reside on-site, with a two-bedroom apartment provided at no cost.

Key Responsibilities:
The Facilities Maintenance Lead is accountable for ensuring the physical integrity of the community at all times. This includes maintaining a safe and secure living environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The Lead will proactively identify and resolve any issues related to the property and implement preventative measures to avoid future problems. A robust maintenance program is crucial for ensuring safety, enhancing resident satisfaction, and protecting the property owner's investment.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance experience, preferably in a multifamily setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Experience & Skills:
  • Supervisory experience in maintenance, ideally within an apartment community.
  • Proficient in plumbing and electrical repairs.
  • Basic carpentry skills.
  • Experience with glass and screen replacements.
  • Unit turnover and painting experience.
  • Cleaning and maintenance of common areas.
