Role Overview:
As a Culinary Staff Member at SONIC Drive-In, you will manage the Appetite Satisfaction Department, which includes operating various food preparation stations:

  • Food Production
  • Grill
  • Fryer
  • Additional tasks as needed

Key Responsibilities:
Your duties will encompass:

  • Preparing and cooking food orders to ensure they meet our quality standards
  • Food preparation and portioning
  • Cooking on the grill
  • Operating the fry station
  • Dressing items according to customer specifications
  • Packaging all menu items while ensuring product quality and consistency
  • Maintaining cleanliness, including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes, wiping countertops, and sanitizing food areas

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • The ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Adaptability to meet the demands of the business
  • Strong communication skills along with basic math and reading abilities
  • The capability to follow instructions accurately
  • A commitment to maintaining appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards
  • A general understanding of the restaurant or retail industry is preferred but not mandatory
