Inventory Control Specialist

Job Summary:
The Inventory Control Specialist position at NFI Industries is responsible for conducting continuous cycle counts of inventory in a timely manner while on feet. This role requires researching discrepancies and adhering to proper inventory control and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Perform physical inventory count and compare results with system data
- Research discrepancies between physical and system count
- Communicate cycle count findings to those responsible for inventory
- Adhere to cycle counting procedures and guidelines
- Maintain inventory count records and data files
- Investigate origin of discrepancies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Must have experience operating a forklift
- Computer applications experience using MS Office
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to work independently
- High school education or equivalent
- Must be able to follow policies and safety procedures
- Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs without restriction
- Perform duties as instructed by management
- Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and potentially holidays as needed by the customer
- Must be able to stand and walk for continuous periods of time
Benefits:
- Base hourly rate: $19.75-$20.50/HOUR
