Warehouse Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at Ryder System. As a key member of our Supply Chain Solutions division, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
- Plan and review logistics processes to ensure that they meet company standards and customer service specifications.
- Establish work schedules and procedures to optimize shift/team logistics.
- Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with customers to ensure that their needs are met and that all operations are running smoothly.
- Conduct regular meetings with team members to discuss progress, provide coaching and feedback, and recognize individual and team successes.
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive team culture, promoting diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Perform performance evaluations and recommend performance awards and/or merit increases as necessary.
- Address performance problems through corrective action and disciplinary processes.
- Understand labor agreements and maintain positive labor relations with all employees.
- Implement health and safety initiatives, practices, and behaviors, and adhere to company rules and policies.
- Provide orientation and training to new employees, ensuring that they have the necessary information, technology, and materials to perform their jobs effectively.
- H.S. diploma/GED required.
- One (1) year or more experience in transportation, warehouse, or distribution environment preferred.
- 0 to One (1) year direct supervisory/leadership experience required.
