Banquet Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Banquet Captain to oversee all banquet functions and employees at Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

• Supervise and coordinate the set-up, service, and break down of all banquet functions
• Ensure all functions are posted correctly on the sign boards at the entrance to the conference rooms
• Check in servers, assign stations, and pre-post function side work
• Inspect table place settings, including table linen, china, glass, silverware, and condiments for the correct placement by the set-up crew
• Ensure proper setting of buffet tables and other food service tables used for catering functions
• Oversee all servers on the floor and service received by the guest throughout each function assigned
• Ensure all china, glassware, and silverware is properly separated, stacked, and/or racked for delivery to the dish washing area
• Acquire accurate count after guests are seated for plating and preparation
• Assist in the planning stages for larger events or holidays
• Conduct server training as needed
• Oversee the handling, storage, and security of all catering service equipment
• Maintain constant communication with guests to ensure guest expectations have been met
• Attend BEO and other meetings as required
