The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team in the Americas region. As a key member of our legal services team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of our contracting strategies.

Your primary responsibilities will include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of standard agreements, such as Master Services Agreements, Health Care Professional contracts, and Confidential Disclosure Agreements. You will also be responsible for developing templates for standard agreements in collaboration with company partners and identifying optimization opportunities to gain more efficient legal services support to the business.

In addition, you will provide high-quality and legal support to partners regarding a range of legal issues and act as a liaison with different departments to ensure issue resolution. You will also maintain the integrity of agreements by using our contract lifecycle management platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and J.D. or equivalent foreign degree/s.
  • Bar admission in relevant region or permission to practice in-house.
  • 5 years' experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of agreements in a reputable law firm or international corporate setting.
  • Biotech or pharmaceutical experience.
  • Contracts drafting, negotiation skills.
  • Experience with commercial contracting.
  • Work with internal Legal Partners and external parties to achieve strategic goals.
  • Some domestic and/or international travel may be required.
