Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Great Strides Rehabilitation. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with children with special needs, providing individualized therapy sessions to help them develop the skills they need to succeed in school and in life.

Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to children with special needs, including assessment, planning, and implementation of treatment plans
  • Work collaboratively with other therapists, including physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and music therapists, to provide a comprehensive approach to care
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with families and caregivers, providing education and support to help them understand their child's needs and progress
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in occupational therapy, attending training and professional development opportunities as needed
Requirements
  • Active license to practice occupational therapy
  • Eligibility to apply for OT license in the next 3 months
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Passion for working with children with special needs
