We are seeking a highly qualified Central Service Technician Instructor to join our team at the Swedish Institute, College of Health Sciences. As a Central Service Technician Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the field of central service and sterile processing.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement curriculum for central service and sterile processing courses
- Teach and evaluate student progress in central service and sterile processing courses
- Coordinate clinical experiences for students in central service and sterile processing
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with program director and clinical instructors to assess and record student paperwork related to clinical experiences
- Conduct preceptor-ship duties as needed
- Assist program director and clinical instructors with hospital orientations as needed
- Associate's degree or higher in a related field
- 4 years of experience in sterile processing or surgical processing
- CRCST or CIS or CHL certification
- Classroom experience
- Competitive hourly wage
