Job Description

This role involves constructing, modifying, installing, repairing, and maintaining tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and sample products to support manufacturing, engineering, and sales. The successful candidate will set up, adjust, and operate various manual lathes, mills, drill presses, and grinders to produce parts within required tolerances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and understand blueprints to produce parts from the information obtained
  • Perform first-piece inspection and subsequent inspections to ensure overall quality
  • Take care of routine maintenance and keep the work area clean and neat
  • FOLLOW all safety rules regarding machine operation and proper guarding
Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess excellent reading and writing skills, as well as sufficient visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts. They should also have physical ability to perform tasks requiring frequent standing and bending, as well as lifting up to 30 lbs frequently.
