About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Habilitation Aide to provide paraprofessional support work in implementing programs and activities of an educational, rehabilitative, or recreational nature for patients and residents in our facility under the direction and supervision of professional staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, implement, and oversee individual and/or group activities of an habilitative nature for patients/residents
  • Train, supervise, and provide support to patients/residents participating in programs or activities
  • Observe and record observations related to patient/resident attendance, participation level, behavior, and progress
  • Report observations to professional staff
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Two (2) years of education, training or experience working as a Mental Health Worker I or providing direct care to mentally or physically disabled individuals or other directly related habilitative or educational work
