Immediate Opening for Electrical Assembly Technician

Position Overview:


The Electrical Assembly Technician will be responsible for positioning, erecting, aligning, and leveling electrical wiring, components, and panels while integrating their operations. This role involves fitting and aligning various components related to the electrical assembly of machinery.

The technician will read and interpret work orders, schematics, and specifications to apply established methods for electrical assembly.

Key responsibilities include connecting wiring to accessories such as relays, circuit breakers, plugs, and switches, as well as installing accessory assemblies in electrical or electronic units using soldering tools and hand tools.

The role requires the use of handheld tools like wrenches, screwdrivers, drill guns, and crimpers.
Precision measuring instruments, such as scales and calipers, will be utilized to inspect and verify that parts conform to specifications and tolerances.
Additionally, the technician will assist with the final inspection and testing of machinery to ensure that equipment meets performance standards and requirements.
Attention to detail and self-motivation are crucial skills for this position.
All required documentation must be completed accurately.
The ability to analyze problems and propose solutions is essential.
Collaboration in a team environment, as well as the ability to work independently, is expected.

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Precision Alignment: Execute engineering designs and construct components in-house as needed.
2. Sub-Assemblies: Handle device wiring and assembly in small groups.
3. Electrical Work: Manage low and high voltage wiring, ensuring compliance with standards.
4. Mechanical Tasks: Perform specific and optical alignments with precision tools.
5. Tolerance Management: Maintain strict tolerances on alignments and measurements.
6. Pneumatic Systems: Work with pneumatic pipe and fittings, ensuring proper assembly and maintenance.
7. Bearing Knowledge: Understand and identify various types of bearings essential for assembly tasks.
8. Task Management: Complete numerous specific tasks as outlined in engineering drawings.
