Job Overview

Essential Qualifications
  • Experience: Completion of a Category 1 or 2 Commonwealth project valued at $5M or more, or a non-COV project exceeding $10M as the Project Manager of record.
  • Methodologies: Proficiency in Commonwealth Project Management (CPM) methodologies for large-scale projects (greater than $10 million and medium to high complexity).
  • Certifications: Active Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) certification.
  • Risk Management: Documented experience in risk management.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
  • PM Qualification Review: Consistency with the VITA PMQR and CIO overview.
  • Familiarity: Knowledge of the Commonwealth's Technology Portfolio (CTP) tool, Planview Enterprise One.
  • Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
  • Work Ethic: Self-starter with the capability to operate with minimal supervision.
  • Communication: Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, along with outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Organizational Skills: Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
