Job Overview

Metro Industrial Services is looking for dedicated Residential and Commercial Cleaning Specialists. This role involves temporary or contract work, providing an opportunity to showcase your cleaning skills in various environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Floor Care: Perform vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of different floor types including carpets, hardwood, and tiles.
  • Dusting: Ensure cleanliness by dusting surfaces such as baseboards, decor items, mantels, and window sills.
  • Bathroom Sanitation: Thoroughly clean bathrooms, including tubs, showers, toilets, sinks, counters, and mirrors.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Clean kitchen appliances, countertops, and cupboards to maintain hygiene.
  • Bedroom Cleaning: Ensure bedrooms are clean and tidy.
  • Window Cleaning: Clean windows to enhance visibility and aesthetics.
  • Linens Management: Change and refresh bed linens.
  • Disinfection: Disinfect high-touch areas such as doorknobs to promote health and safety.
  • Surface Sanitization: Sanitize surfaces to minimize the spread of germs.
  • Deep Cleaning: Conduct deep cleaning tasks in overlooked areas, including inside cabinets and behind appliances.

Compensation: $13.00/hour

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with potential weekend shifts as needed. Typical hours range from 8:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., totaling 28-32 hours per week.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and navigate stairs.
  • Comfortable working in environments with pets.
  • Team-oriented, must work alongside a partner.
  • Valid Driver's License required, with a vehicle for transportation.
