Occupational Therapist Job Description

Soar Autism Center is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement naturalistic occupational therapy plans for young children (2-6 years old) in a center-based setting.
  • Create interventions to support clients in developing gross motor skills, fine motor skills, feeding, and daily living activities.
  • Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and create treatment plans in coordination with other clinical specialties.
  • Coach and mentor RBTs in translating OT goals into effective therapy and support their career growth.
  • Monitor client progress, update treatment plans, and communicate with team members and families.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active license to practice occupational therapy.
  • Prefer 3+ years of experience, but open to new OTs starting their career.
  • Ability to connect and engage with young children, and clear professional communication.
