Position Overview:

The Hoffmann lab is seeking a dedicated and skilled postdoctoral researcher (Research Associate) with a keen interest in exploring the effects of environmental and toxicological factors on circadian rhythms and their implications for pregnancy outcomes.


This two-year postdoctoral opportunity is supported by a NIH diversity supplement and requires candidates to meet specific eligibility criteria as outlined by NIEHS.


Research Focus:

The project will utilize both in vitro and in vivo methodologies, including pharmacological and toxicological assessments, studies on circadian rhythms, and investigations into pregnancy-related changes in maternal, placental, and fetal systems, employing murine models.

The Hoffmann lab is affiliated with the Department of Animal Science, the Neuroscience Program, and the Reproductive and Developmental Science Program (RDSP) at Michigan State University. These programs provide a dynamic and innovative environment for conducting cutting-edge biomedical, animal, and fundamental research alongside leading experts in the field. The Hoffmann lab's research emphasizes the molecular mechanisms governing reproductive health, circadian biology, and pregnancy outcomes.
