Café Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Food Service Team Member to join our team at Sam's Club. As a key member of our prepared meal team, you will be responsible for preparing fresh food items daily, following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken.

• Food Preparation: Prepare food according to item specifications, adhering to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring member satisfaction and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications, and communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless operations.
• Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ensuring that shelves are clean, and maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lesser-quality food products.
• Equipment Maintenance: Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment to ensure efficient and safe food preparation.

• Food Service Experience: Previous experience in food service, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Food Safety Certification: Possession of a valid food safety certification, such as Food Handler Certification.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
