Pediatric Sleep Medicine Specialist at Riley Hospital

The Division of Pediatric Pulmonology, Allergy/Immunology, and Sleep Medicine is seeking a qualified Pediatric Sleep Medicine Pulmonologist to enhance our team at Riley Hospital for Children and IU Health North Hospital. Our mission is to deliver exceptional care for children up to 18 years old who face sleep challenges influenced by behavioral and psychological factors.
Position Overview:
- Conducted over 8,000 pulmonary function assessments, 600 bronchoscopies, and 2,500 sleep evaluations in the previous year.
- Published 55 peer-reviewed articles; managed 139 IRB approved studies; secured $10 million in active research funding.
- Accredited by the AASM.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of providers and benefit from mentorship opportunities.
The sleep program is supported by a specialized team consisting of 4 physicians, 3 behavioral sleep psychologists, and 1 advanced practice provider. The ideal candidate will enjoy a well-rounded work-life balance, engage in clinical services, and contribute to educational initiatives. This role provides a comprehensive benefits package and is jointly employed by IU Health Physicians and IU School of Medicine.
Candidate Qualifications:
- MD/DO degree required.
- Completion of fellowship training in sleep medicine, pediatric pulmonology, psychiatry, or neurology.
- Board eligible or board certified, with a valid license or the ability to obtain licensure in Indiana.
