Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Associate to join our team in maintaining a pristine environment at our healthcare facility. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and cleanliness of our surroundings, which is vital for patient well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
The Housekeeping Associate will be responsible for:

  • Performing daily cleaning tasks as outlined in our Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Adhering to established cleaning schedules, including daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
  • Ensuring cleanliness of floors through various methods such as mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing both movable and stationary furnishings throughout the facility.
  • Maintaining hygiene in restrooms and public areas, including thorough disinfection.
  • Managing waste disposal and maintaining cleanliness of waste containers.
  • Participating in safety training and adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Understanding and following the facility's emergency procedures.
  • Assisting with additional tasks as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.

Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A strong customer service orientation.
  • Professional demeanor and commitment to safety practices.
  • Basic knowledge of housekeeping and environmental services.

Work Environment:
This position involves physical activity, including lifting up to 40 pounds, and requires frequent movement throughout the facility. The role may involve exposure to various cleaning agents and the need to follow strict safety guidelines.

Schedule:
This is an hourly position with a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays.

Education and Experience:
Applicants should have the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with at least one year of experience in a healthcare setting.
