Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Dietary Manager to join our team at Currituck Health & Rehab Center. As a Dietary Manager, you will be responsible for managing the operation of the food service department, including staffing, food ordering, meal preparation, food delivery, food safety, and kitchen sanitation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the food service department to ensure quality nutritional services are provided to residents.
  • Supervise food service staff and ensure they follow health, sanitary, and infection control policies.
  • Assure that food service operations are conducted in accordance with community policies, physician orders, and resident care plans.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Certified Food Service Manager or similar national certification.
  • Associate's or higher degree in Food Service Management or Hospitality with food service or restaurant management coursework.
  • Food Handler level II or similar food safety certification.
  • Ability to communicate in English and follow verbal and written instructions.
