Job Summary:
As a LPN in the Emergency Department at LifeBridge Health, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides high-quality patient care to over 60,000 patients per year. Our Emergency Department has 49 beds and treats a wide range of illnesses, including cardiac, stroke, and behavioral health conditions. You will work closely with our team to assess patient status, implement clinical nursing interventions, and provide care for minor illnesses and injuries.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
- Assess patient status and implement clinical nursing interventions to modify symptoms
- Work collaboratively with the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing to develop and implement individualized nursing care plans
- Attend to the daily operations of the unit and assume responsibilities of a leadership role as needed
Requirements:
- Current Maryland Practical Nurse License
- American Heart Association CPR Certification
- ACLS & PALS certification within 1 year of hire
