About the Role

We are seeking a talented and ambitious individual to join our 100% employee-owned company as a Hydraquip Summer Rotational Intern. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various departments, including Service & Repair, Engineering, Production, Inside Sales, Outside Sales, and Shipping & Receiving.

As a member of our team, you will have the chance to work on diverse projects, develop your skills, and collaborate with top leadership. Our rotational internship program is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of our business operations and expose you to different areas of the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service & Repair: Assist in pump teardowns, conversions, and assemblies; learn about hydraulic components and their functionality using test stands.
  • Engineering: Work on summer projects focused on warehouse efficiency, integrated system design, automation, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Production: Gain hands-on experience in conversions and custom assemblies for customers; work with machining equipment to build custom components.
  • Inside Sales: Learn about quoting processes, manage orders and delivery, communicate with customers via phone and email, and build relationships with vendors.
  • Outside Sales: Shadow outside sales representatives for customer visits and gain experience with customer applications and field relationships.
  • Shipping & Receiving: Assist with inventory controls, order picking, packing, and shipping while gaining familiarity with our products.
Requirements
  • Education: Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree program; prefer junior or senior status but will consider other class levels.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Ability to work independently, strong organizational and time management skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 per year, paid over 12 weeks during the summer, which translates to approximately $4,615 per month. Additionally, we provide a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan with company match. As part of Employee Owned Holdings, Inc., you will also be eligible for an employee stock ownership plan (ESOP), which allows you to own stock in the company and potentially earn higher retirement account balances.
