Join a dedicated team as an Obstetrician/Gynecologist in a locum tenens capacity. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide care in a supportive environment while enjoying the scenic beauty of California.
Key Details:
- Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Job Type: Locum Tenens
- Location: Woodland, CA
- Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient
- Coverage Period: Ongoing
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
- Call Requirements: 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month
Patient Care:
Expect a patient volume of 20-24 deliveries per month, with 38-40 admissions. Rounding is included, and you will be working alongside 2 other physicians.
Support Staff:
You will have access to a dedicated Medical Assistant and will perform usual and customary procedures for Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Technology:
The facility utilizes Cerner for electronic medical records.
Compensation and Benefits:
Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance will be covered. Candidates must hold an active California medical license and be board certified or board eligible (if board eligible, within 5 years of residency). BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are preferred. A clean record and COVID vaccination are required.
