Your Role:
As an Automation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Executing insert changeovers for production processes.
  • Conducting preventive maintenance on automation systems as per established guidelines.
  • Inspecting equipment for potential defects and devising solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Ensuring the functionality and cleanliness of tools and equipment.
  • Overseeing electronic and electromechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Working independently while leading a team in proactive planning and maintenance efforts.
  • Communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Performing additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A technical degree or certification is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of plastic processing and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Basic skills in mathematics, electrical systems, and computer operations.
  • The ability to read and interpret measuring devices and inspection tools.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Forklift training (can be completed on the job).
