About the Role

Amergis is seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist to join our team. As a School Psychologist, you will play a critical role in supporting students with mental health and developmental issues, and aiding in qualifying students for additional support services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct multi-factored evaluations (initial and re-evaluations) in compliance with state regulations within a designated timeframe
  • Provide on-site psychological services to students under the jurisdiction of the state and district
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support students with special needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other team members to ensure the development and provision of the most appropriate education program
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in school psychology
Requirements
  • Master's degree in psychology or a related field
  • Current state licensure and/or certification in school psychology
  • Experience working with pediatric and adolescent populations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
