Key Responsibilities:

The primary goal of the Evening Room Care Specialist is to enhance the guest experience by refreshing occupied guest rooms during evening hours. This role involves ensuring that linens are turned down, towels and amenities are replenished, trash is removed, and a soothing ambiance is created.

Essential Duties Include:

  • Warmly greet and engage with guests, ensuring a friendly and professional interaction.
  • Safeguard guest privacy and maintain confidentiality of personal information.
  • Prepare beds for the night and adjust lighting and music to create a calming environment.
  • Restock towels and amenities, ensuring they are presented neatly.
  • Dispose of waste and maintain cleanliness in guest rooms.
  • Organize and manage cleaning supplies and linens effectively.
  • Keep storage areas tidy and well-organized.
  • Utilize property management software to report any maintenance issues.
  • Work efficiently to meet daily operational goals.
  • Address guest inquiries and special requests promptly and effectively.
  • Resolve issues with professionalism and care.
  • Handle lost items according to established protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Assist in laundry and other operational areas as needed.
  • Protect company assets and proprietary information.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Present a neat and professional appearance at all times.
  • Follow safety and security protocols diligently, reporting any incidents or hazards.
  • Provide assistance to guests with disabilities, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Foster a positive team environment to achieve collective goals.
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following:

  • Experience in hospitality or a related field.
  • Ability to remain composed and use sound judgment in various situations.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to follow directions and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Minimum Requirements:
