Job Summary

We're seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our consulting firm, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the quality and timely delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical systems and components, including lighting, power, fire alarm, security, and communication systems
Prepare and review electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports using AutoCAD, Revit, and other software tools
Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure project quality and delivery
Conduct site visits, inspections, and commissioning activities as needed
Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and supervision to junior engineers and designers
Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Professional Engineer (PE) license in California or ability to obtain within 6 months
At least 10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the consulting industry
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other engineering software tools
Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IBC, and other applicable codes and standards
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
