This position requires a minimum of 1+ years of experience in speech therapy.

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team at a school district in California. As an SLPA, you will work closely with a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct and indirect therapy services to students.

  • This is a full-time or part-time contract assignment for the 2023-24 school year.
  • You will be working with a caseload of Pre-K to 12 students.
  • The role guarantees weekly pay and comes with a competitive salary.
  • In this role, you will assist the SLP in providing therapy services and contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the SLP to design and implement therapy plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Assist with assessing students' communication skills and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Deliver high-quality therapy services to students in small groups or one-on-one settings.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1+ years of experience in speech therapy, preferably in a school setting.
  • An active California state SLPA license.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other professionals.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional support to students with diverse needs and abilities.
