Job Title: Utility Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Utility Technician to join our team at Wysocki Family Farms in Eagle River, WI.

Job Summary:

The Utility Technician will be responsible for maintaining and operating a wide range of equipment and vehicles, as well as performing preventative maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and ordering parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and operate various equipment and vehicles, including tractors, trucks, and other farm machinery
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and equipment inspections
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment and vehicles as needed
  • Order parts and supplies as required
  • Assist with loading and driving trucks, as well as operating conveyance and other field equipment
  • Apply crop inputs, such as spreading, hilling, and spraying, according to the agronomic crop plan
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience maintaining and operating equipment and vehicles
  • Demonstrated ability to properly and safely use tools
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
