Veterans Advocate

The Veterans Health Administration is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Veterans Advocate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for resolving patient complaints, providing support to veterans and their families, and promoting effective communication within our healthcare system.

About the Job:

• Resolve patient complaints and concerns in a fair and timely manner.
• Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication and care coordination.
• Prepare reports and present findings to management and other stakeholders.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience in patient advocacy, social work, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with patients and families.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Salary:$60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on location and experience.
