Key Responsibilities
  • Preventative Maintenance: Complete regular maintenance checks on guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to prevent equipment failures and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our guests.
  • Work Order Completion: Prioritize and complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all maintenance requests are fulfilled to the highest standard.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of guest room care parts and materials, ensuring that our inventory is always up-to-date and sufficient to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with hotel staff, guests, and management to ensure that all maintenance-related issues are addressed promptly and efficiently.
  • Safety and Security: Identify and report any safety hazards or security concerns to management, and take proactive steps to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Pool and Spa Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks on our pool and spa facilities to ensure they are clean, safe, and functional.
  • Lawn and Grounds Maintenance: Maintain the hotel's exterior grounds and landscaping to ensure a welcoming and attractive environment for our guests.
  • Emergency Procedures: Familiarize yourself with hotel emergency procedures and take an active role in ensuring that all staff are aware of their roles and responsibilities in the event of an emergency.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: This role requires frequent bending, lifting, carrying, twisting, pushing, pulling, reaching, kneeling, and prolonged periods of standing and/or walking. You must be able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
