Job Summary:
As a Preoperative and Postoperative Surgical Nurse with Surgery Partners, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care in an Ambulatory Surgical Center setting. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the provision of nursing care to patients, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the surgical process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation of patients for surgery, ensuring all necessary information and documentation is complete.
• Provide direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state RN license.
• Minimum two years of experience in preoperative and postoperative surgical patient care.
• Current CPR and ACLS certification.
