  • Specimen Processing: Assist in processing, packaging, and shipping specimens and preparation of samples for genetic testing in a timely manner.
  • Insurance Pre-Authorization: Obtain and coordinate insurance pre-authorization for specialized laboratory testing, ensuring seamless patient care.
  • Document Management: Scan and upload documents into the electronic medical record system, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Team Support: Provide clinical and administrative support to the Clinical Genetics team, contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience required, plus two years of related experience.
  • Skills: Familiarity with medical terminology, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work both independently and in teams, and proficiency in Spanish.
