We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Clinical Faculty member to join our Dental Hygiene program at St. Louis Community College. As a key member of our team, you will provide clinical instruction and supervision to dental hygiene students in our state-of-the-art public Dental Hygiene Clinic.
Responsibilities- Provide clinical instruction and supervision to dental hygiene students in the Dental Hygiene Clinic.
- Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
- Collaborate with fellow faculty members to enhance the program and student experience.
To be considered for this role, you must have a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene or a related field, as well as current state licensure and relevant clinical experience. A minimum of three years of full-time clinical dental hygiene experience is required, along with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, staff, and patients from diverse backgrounds. ADHA membership is also a must.
Preferred QualificationsA bachelor's degree, five years of full-time clinical dental hygiene experience, and dental hygiene teaching experience are preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as organizational and time management skills, are essential for success in this role.
