We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician Tradesman to join our team at Flagship Communities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work autonomously while maintaining a high level of quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems
- Perform manual repairs, including fixing locks and replacing windows
- Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned
- Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed
- Perform mowing, weed eating, and hedge trimming, as well as preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment
Requirements
- Carpentry experience is a must
- Physically capable of manual labor, including lifting, bending, and reaching
- Positive attitude and willingness to lead and work as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills
- Basic understanding of plumbing and other systems
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Building maintenance technology or relevant field is a plus
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is desired
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
