Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ER nurse to join our team at St. Joseph's Medical Center. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the emergency department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Participate in emergency department operations, including triage, patient flow, and resource management.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and quality by identifying and reporting potential safety risks and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in emergency nursing, with a focus on high-acuity and high-volume environments.
  • Current licensure in the state of California.
  • Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CA License certifications.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.

As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including ER North and ER South, and will be supported by a team of experienced nurses and healthcare professionals.
