Job Description:

Job Summary:

The Child Protective Services Case Manager is responsible for providing case management services to children and families in need of protection and support. This includes assessing the needs of the family, developing and implementing a case plan, and providing ongoing support and services to ensure the safety and well-being of the child.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the needs of the family and develop a case plan to ensure the safety and well-being of the child.
  • Provide ongoing support and services to the family, including counseling, advocacy, and connection to community resources.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and professionals to ensure the child's needs are met and the family is receiving the necessary support.
  • Monitor the child's progress and adjust the case plan as needed to ensure the child's safety and well-being.
  • Document all interactions with the family and child, including case notes, progress reports, and other relevant information.


Requirements:

  • Master's degree in social work or a related field.
  • Experience working with children and families in need of protection and support.
  • Strong assessment and case planning skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and build strong relationships with families and community partners.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.


Working Conditions:

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. The Child Protective Services Case Manager must be able to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with families and community partners. The position also requires strong assessment and case planning skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
