Diesel Service Technician

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is seeking a skilled Diesel Service Journeyman / Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will perform a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient and safe operation of our heavy-duty trucks.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform skilled and complicated mechanical work on heavy-duty truck equipment and related components.
- Troubleshoot major problems and provide solutions.
- Work with and train Apprentice Technicians to develop their skills.
- Maintain a clean and organized working area, and handle company tools with care.
- Collaborate with the Service Foreman to identify additional repair needs.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date with new technologies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
- CDL preferred.
- A/C, Brake, and DOT Annual Inspector Certifications required.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience or vocational graduate.
- Necessary tools to perform position responsibilities.
