About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Associate to join our team at Room & Board. As a Cleaning Associate, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our showroom, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for our customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and operate industrial janitorial machinery to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Organization and Inventory: Maintain organization and inventory levels of cleaning supplies, ensuring that all necessary materials are readily available.
  • Waste Management: Gather and empty trash and recycling/composting bins, and empty dishwashers.
  • Light Maintenance: Perform light maintenance tasks, including general repairs, as needed.

  • Self-Directed and Detail-Oriented: You are self-directed and have a high set of standards that show in every aspect of your work.
  • Collaborative Team Player: You are a collaborative team player who works effectively with others to achieve common goals.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You have excellent communication skills and enjoy working at a steady pace.
  • Physical Demands: You have the ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds and the physical capacity to walk/move fairly continuously during an eight-hour shift with normal breaks.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 ($26.44/hour) depending on experience.
