Senior iOS Software Development Engineer

Dexcom is seeking a skilled iOS Software Engineer to join our team in San Diego, CA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining iOS apps and/or SDKs for our industry-leading CGM device.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and build applications for the iOS platform
Implement requirements on iOS apps, write and update design documents
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to strengthen development efficiency
Interface with software test to ensure high-quality product
Develop automated unit and integration tests
Participate in design, code, and test reviews, provide technical leadership
Propose and implement enhancements to the apps to improve sustainability
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
Minimum 2 years of native iOS app development experience using Swift and SwiftUI, and 5 years of professional software development experience
High degree of diligence in documentation, testing, and coding
Experience working in Agile teams and using tools such as Jira and Confluence
Experience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, GitHub Actions
Experience with version control tools such as Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, and GitFlow
Experience writing automated tests using XCTest, XCUITest
Working knowledge of design patterns such as MVC, MVVM, MVP

Experience and Education Requirements:
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 5-8 years related experience or Master's degree and 2-5 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 0-2 years experience.
Flex Workplace:
Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km).
