Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Four Seasons Retirement Center. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our facilities and grounds.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the facility and grounds in good condition, performing tasks such as mowing, watering, trimming, and weeding.
  • Sweep walks and shovel snow as needed.
  • Collect and dispose of rubbish and trash.
  • Replace light bulbs and perform repairs to the building, equipment, and furnishings.
  • Repair, clean, lubricate, and store equipment, tools, and fixtures.
  • Clean and maintain storage areas as assigned.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and document tasks in the computer work order system.
  • Maintain written records and log books as assigned.
  • Perform corrective maintenance as assigned.
  • Participate in inventory and supply distribution processes as assigned.
  • Interact with residents in a cheerful and respectful manner.
Requirements

At a minimum, you must be able to acquire sufficient knowledge and learn new skills through on-the-job training and instructions to satisfactorily meet job performance requirements at the end of the introductory period.
